Volcanic Sunset forms along the thermal edge of the spectrum, where heat, haze and ash settle into clean vertical bands. A transparent pink layer rises into a brighter pink dichroic seam, the two working together to create a warm, ember‑like glow that activates sharply in sunlight. Above this, a neo‑lavender band softens the transition, acting like atmospheric haze drifting between the heat below and the cooler tones above.

The upper section carries a grey iridised sheen — a volcanic‑ash sky with a subtle metallic lift. Transparent stringers run through the piece, creating soft vertical interactions that shift as the pendant moves. The species holds a calm, layered structure: heat at the base, dusk in the centre, ash at the top.
