I’m BJ Eilola, a contemporary glass artist based in Brisbane, Australia.

My work is driven by an interest in how heat, volume, mass and time modify material and colour behaviour.

I focus on controlled deformation, structural tension and the point where precision meets unpredictability. Each piece reflects an ongoing study of form, behaviour and the limits of the medium.

I work independently from my studio developing a practice built on research, experimentation and material precision.

My items have been stocked by contemporary gallery shops and design retailers as part of an ongoing, self‑directed practice.

Commissions and custom requests are available on enquiry.
