One-of-a-kind plate created using lead crystal powders. The process is extremely labour intensive, layering powdered glass on fibre paper and wetting and manipulating to cause the cracks. This is then fired to tack fuse to a compatible sheet glass. Once cooled, this must then be meticulously cleaned before being grouted with another colour glass slurry. This is then fired again to a full fuse. After cleaning and water-grinding the unpolished surface, the piece is slumped into its final shape.
