This one of a kind plate is created using lead crystal powders built through a labour intensive crackle process that produces its distinctive fractured surface.

Powdered glass is layered onto fibre paper wetted and manipulated to form the crackle pattern then fired to tack fuse onto a compatible sheet. After cooling the surface is meticulously cleaned before being grouted with a second colour slurry and fired again to a full fuse.

Measuring approximately 28 cm wide by 5 cm tall.
